Compendium: your universe's encyclopedia

• Headings, lists, quotes, formatting, and images dropped straight into the text.
• Links to other articles: type [[ and a list of suggestions opens; a link to an article that doesn't exist yet shows in red.
• A table of contents is generated from the article's headings.
• An unsaved draft is kept in the browser and offered for restoring.

An article's fact box is built from templates: define a "Character", "City" or "Artefact" template once, then fill it in from one article to the next. A field can hold several values, including links to other articles, or a date in your universe's calendar, with ages calculated automatically.

• Several images per article, with a default image and thumbnail cropping.
• A featured quote at the top of the article.
• One ambient music track per article, with its starting volume.

• Full-text search across article titles and content.
• Shared tags, filterable and combinable with search.
• "Spread the link": turn a keyword into a link across every other article, with a preview before applying.
• Visibility for each article: public, unlisted (reachable by its address only) or private (visible to its author only).

A spoiler block expands on click. Attached to a context, its content isn't even sent to participants without access: they see its title, sealed. A single infobox value can be protected the same way, and a whole article can be reserved for some participants.

Each article exports to PDF, in A4 or Letter, in the theme of your choice. Secrets the reader has no access to stay sealed in the exported file; spoilers they can read are only revealed if they ask for it.

• The universe's manager creates articles and manages infobox templates.
• An article's author and the manager can edit it.
• Other members read whatever their contexts open to them.

• Infobox values aren't covered by full-text search.
• Articles are never published on the web: they stay inside the private universe.
